Paying it forward is an expression for describing the beneficiary of a good deed repaying it to others instead of to the original benefactor.
This store isn't even really about me. It's about the people we serve. And it's about the friends of the people we serve, and their friends, and friends of their friends. Our mission is twofold, first to inspire people to bring out their true best selves. Second, to support local and global change makers who like us, are improving the lives of those around them. I mean, come on - we're all in this together. We're all connected.
When you purchase a Gutsy Girl Club product for yourself or as a gift to someone else you are spreading love and in my book that is a good deed. And we want to keep the momentum going. That's why the Gutsy Girl Club is designed to support organizations and projects that inspire girls and women from around the world to reach their full potential.
Throughout the year the club pays it forward. 100% of profits get invested into girl empowerment programs, programs that build girls up and keeps them strong. This means Gutsy Girl Club participants receive scholarships to participate in our Gutsy Girl Club sponsored events and workshops. In addition, national and international organizations supporting the empowerment of women and girls receive a boost with our support. By partnering with organizations such as the One Circle Foundation, Kiva, and Girls on the Run, we hope to help make the world a better place. Built into every purchase is a vote for how together, we can pay it forward.
